GEORGETOWN, Guyana — The Guyana Office for Investment (GO-Invest) has been successfully recertified under the internationally recognized ISO 9001 Quality Management Standard, reaffirming its commitment to high-quality service delivery, transparency and efficiency.
GO-Invest was first certified in 2022. The latest recertification confirms that the agency has continued to meet rigorous international requirements for quality management systems, positioning it among world-class investment promotion agencies.
Chief Investment Officer and Agency Head, Hon. Peter Ramsaroop, MP, said the achievement reflects the government’s broader push for excellence in public service.
“His Excellency President Dr. Mohamed Irfaan Ali has set a high standard for how government must serve its people. With ISO 9001 recertification, GO-Invest is proving that we are serious about systems, standards, and service. Investors can trust Guyana,” Ramsaroop said.
The recertification will be formally recognized at a ceremony to be held at a later date, which is expected to bring together government officials, members of the local and international business community, media representatives and development partners.
GO-Invest said the renewal follows a series of institutional improvements aimed at modernizing investor services. These include reduced processing times, enhanced transparency through the digitization of internal workflows, and the rollout of new digital tools to improve investor engagement.
Among the initiatives highlighted is the Interactive Digital Investment Assistant (IDIA), an artificial intelligence–driven platform that has been tested and is now being deployed to provide real-time guidance and support to investors. The agency has also implemented a modern Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system to streamline communication and improve investor onboarding.
With the renewed ISO 9001 certification, GO-Invest said it remains committed to international best practices and delivering top-tier service standards, strengthening investor confidence and Guyana’s position as a competitive and trusted destination for global investment.
